This project included complete planning, engineering analysis, management, and labor in safely removing a 540' by 130' dry dock structure from the Southwest Marine facility in San Pedro, CA. The structure was towed a minimum distance of 12 miles offshore and safely sunk at the designated location utilizing USN and Coast Guard deep water scrapping techniques. Careful analysis and planning were utilized to devise the most economic and the least time consuming method of completing this task.
